Ampullaria, yet to be distributed in any quantity in the USA. There are features that distinguish brown ampullaria from all other forms of ampullaria. Not to be confused with borneo exotics Bronze Nabire. Brown ampullaria is unique in that it grows much slower than normal ampullaria. The brown form produces more dense woodier pitchers. The leaves tends to have slightly different characteristics then typical ampullaria as well. Crossing brown ampullaria with black miracle ampullaria has always been a dream of mine that has finally come true here! Happy to let one individual go and share it with the next nepenthes enthusiast!
Young plant with a 24+ monster root system! Mature traits are just beginning to show. Peristome becoming deeper with each new pitcher. Raised from seed in house. Providing a large pot upon arrival and slow acclimation is the best way to make a strong adaptable nepenthes.Always gently acclimate fresh arrivals to their new conditions. A clear plastic bag that fits over your nepenthes is the best tool to acclimate them to their new home. Once the plant starts growing cut small holes into the bag on a weekly basis to acclimate.
